Somersby was a big market mover in the Ryanair Chase market following his excellent win in the Victor Chandler Chase at Ascot on Saturday. There were also wins for Cinders And Ashes at Haydock who is a general second favourite for the Supreme Novices' Hurdle whilst Balder Success was the latest juvenile to win a Triumph Hurdle trial for trainer Alan King.
There's a busy weekend of racing with Cheltenham in mind in the UK and Ireland. Cheltenham host there very own 'Trials Day' which sees the likes of Captain Chris, Big Buck's and the top three in the Triumph Hurdle betting all put their credentials on the line.
In Ireland all eyes are on Leopardstown on Sunday for the Irish Champion Hurdle featuring Hurricane Fly and Binocular, whilst there's also the Grade 1 Irish Arkle Novice Chase.
