
The Byrne Group Festival Plate is the penultimate race run on the Thursday of the 2014 Cheltenham Festival. Run over two and a half miles, this competitive handicap chase can be tricky to pick out a winner. This year's winner was the 50/1 shot Carrickboy trained by Venetia Williams.
