The Foxhunter Steeple Chase is run on the Friday of the Cheltenham Festival, straight after the Gold Cup over the same course and distance. The big difference however is this race over three and a quarter miles is for amateur riders and hunter chasers. The race boasts the biggest trophy of the Cheltenham Festival week and can often have exciting finishes.
