The Pertemps Final is raced over three miles and is a competitive race because all the horses involved will have had to qualify earlier in the season to take their place at Cheltenham.
As with any handicap contest at the Festival, the Pertemps final is highly competitive. There has been an ante-post gamble however on the Paul Nicholls' trained Alfie Sherrin who is a stand out favourite for the race.
