The Grade 1 Ryanair Chase is a two mile five furlong chase open to horses aged five years or older and is run on the third day of the Cheltenham Festival.
In its five running’s to date, champion trainer Paul Nicholls has won this race twice and he saddles the ante-post favourite for the 2010 renewal with Poquelin, winner of the Boylesports Gold Cup at Cheltenham in December. Paddy Power Gold Cup winner Tranquil Sea is also prominent in the betting.
